Currently the exhibit in "the gallery" is collaborative work by Daniela Ettedgui and Angela Gilland. Dealing with constructions of plastic bags, string, and various textural elements such as rope, they have created a series of wearable art, as well as a new representation of fashion dealing with reusable materials. In addition to their garments, they have included individual paintings that, even if not on purpose, appear to correlate with their wearable art.
The reception will be on September 2nd from 7-9 PM in the gallery. The garments will be worn by models and interactive pedestals will be available to become part of the work itself. And don't forget about the really delicious refreshments that will be served!
